SRACA Members


The monthly SRACA board meeting is this Wednesday, April 8 at 7:00 PM. The meeting will be hosted online and/or by phone through Zoom, a virtual meeting website. Jackie emailed a link to join the Zoom meeting. Also included in the email are the meeting ID and Password which may be required. There is also a phone number provided if you are unable to join online.

The agenda follows below. Please note that the Texas Homeowners Association regulations define what a board can and cannot vote on unless prior notice has been provided. Two such topics as noted in the meeting agenda include potential purchase of the Bickford estate and the potential change to SRACA bylaws.



The Meeting Agenda is as follows.
  • Bickford property - It has been offered for sale to SRACA for $1 million
    • Discuss the options and decide on response to the offer
    • Could involve discussion and/or approval of borrowing money (statement required by Texas law)
    • Possible discussion and/or approval for the sale or purchase of real property (statement required by Texas law)
    • Options
      • Direct purchase by SRACA by borrowing funds
      • SRACA purchase via backing of partnership as funded by voluntary group of SRACA members
      • SRACA purchase via backing of potential buyers of lots
      • Pass on the opportunity
    • Additional information will be shared at the meeting
  • Potential SRACA by law changes
    • Review forthcoming straw poll results for proposed amendment in follow-up from Special Members Meeting
    • Change to the bylaws would allow directors or officers to perform contract work for SRACA by following state requirements
    • Review specifications of request for proposals (RFP) for mowing and ground maintenance
  • Financial updates
    • expenses
    • accounts receivable
    • quarterly budget - update as appropriate
  • Maintenance update
    • runway/taxiway status
    • tractor repairs/ops
    • potential for discussion and/or approval of capital improvements other than the repair, replacement, or enhancement of existing improvements
  • Approach/Obstacles plans - offsite trees
  • Long term plans - update on reserve analysis and summary
  • Possible discussion and/or approval of an amendment to the annual budget that increases the budget by more than 10 percent (statement required by Texas law)
  • Adoption or amendment of a dedicatory instrument (statement required by Texas law)
  • Includes articles covering the establishment, maintenance, and operation of a residential subdivision (statement required by Texas law)
  • Fuel co-op - current balances and recent operations
  • Other business
